A blue butterfly postage stamp is the focal point on this women's soldered glass pendant necklace.
The stamp is set between a clear bevel and a piece of cobalt blue glass and reads “Für Die Jugend” (For the Youth). This is from the 1991 Für Die Jugend series - stamps in this series often feature illustrations appealing to young audiences.
There is space around the stamp to allow the brilliant blue of the stained glass to show through, while the clear bevel on the front catches the light and magnifies the image. Faceted crystals in a matching shade of blue accent the top of the pendant and also hang from the bottom.
The pendant hangs from a royal blue cord finished with a silver lobster clasp.
